What is a way to start a BPO and start getting clients?

Step-1: Initially to start a call centre or a BPO you’ll first have to specifically plan the services you want to provide. For example, there are three basic types of services a BPO provides:

·        Appointment setting services
·        Customer support services
·        Technical support services

Either you can provide one at a time or all of them, depending on the investment and the magnitude of the company you want.


Step-2: Once you’re done with the plan start looking for a place to establish your setup.

Step-3: Depending on the area, state and country where you want to start your business, there are some official work that needs to be done. Get all the licence and permits you need for your start-up.

Step-4: Recruitment: according to the services you provide and the sizes of your company at first divide your business into four basic departments and start recruiting:
·        Human Resource: handles the staff recruiting, management and front desk.
·        Administration: responsible for the smooth working of any organization.
·        Accounts: account handling and salary maintenance.
·        Staffs: Technically they are the core of any company. All the BPO call handling is done by them.

Step-5: Marketing of any company decides the number of clients they get. Better the marketing is greater the chances to fetch a number of clients. Start putting the word out through your website, advertisement and direct contact.


Step-6: In the very beginning start approaching the clients on a personal basis. Cold calling, meeting and offer sending through emails might help. There are numbers of Businesses hiring BPO services to outsource their work. Look for the advertisement over net and newspapers.
